Eirah Basari
A Miqo'te of unusual size, bedecked in finery, and accustomed to luxury. The Hannish born merchant constantly prowls the world in search of profit and any way to further her family name regardless of the cost. As quick to anger as she is to laugh the woman can make for a powerful ally or relentless foe.

Eirah is the other half of the Basari Merchant Family. A woman of relentless drive, passion, and ambition she owes her only true loyalty to her twin Aliyah and the Basari family name. It is thanks to this that from a young age Eirah honed her body and mind into weapons to better protect the future matriarch of the Basari family and to fulfill her desire to be counted among the numbers of noteworthy Hannish warriors.A merchant by trade the woman roams the world selling her family's wares and crafting backroom deals to better see Basari weapons and armor flow into the hands of those with the coin to afford them. When not plying her silver tongue in the pursuit of gil she seeks out those of martial skill to test herself against and spread both her and her family's name.In more recent days with the appearance of the Garlean towers in her homeland, she has seen fit to return to the island state of Radz-at-Han to rejoin the Radiant Host and see to her defense alongside her brothers and sisters at arms.
Hooks
• Merchant & Duelist : Eirah is a merchant and duelist from Radz-at-Han. She will, more often than not, be found in markets wheeling and dealing, or pursuing someone of noteworthy martial ability.
• History and Warfare : Despite her martially inclined ability the woman is endlessly curious about history, particularly the history of warfare and weapons.
• Occasional Bigot : Owing to her upbringing Eirah dislikes tribal Miqo'te, believing their traditions lead to stereotyping of the race as whole.
• Alchemy : Though not an alchemist herself Eirah as of late has been known to at least partake in the craft and work of others for unknown reasons.
• The Radiant Host : Like many Basari she joined the Radiant Host the moment she came of age and served until she was twenty-eight summers. With recent events she has seen fit to rejoin its ranks.
• Part-time Antagonist : Open to darker plots/themes. Eirah is not a good person. She seeks power and wealth at any cost and sees all life, other than that of her family's, as cheap.
• Animals : The Seeker breeds, raises, and trains coeurls as one of her hobbies. Anything regarding the beasts and their offshoots is likely to interest her.
• New Found Hatred : With the appearance of a tower on the shores of Thavnair, Eirah moved for immediate censure against the remaining Imperials. Innocent or otherwise she would have their heads for sullying the beauty of her home.
